
MULBERRY
Combining punchy tones with reflective textures.
Filled with vibrant optimism, Mulberry’s festive campaign is inspired by the colour palette of Francis Bacon’s studio and 70’s punk. This joyful scheme combines punchy tones with reflective textures offering a fresh perspective on the classic festive chroma. Technically designed, prototyped, produced, installed by MA, this scheme was rolled out across 20 locations in the UK and globally by MA.
Inspired by Josef Albers iconic colour square paintings, a team of 40 came together to produce 25 tiled plinths and back walls in two colour-ways, each meticulously created using handmade tiles. In total, 5000 tiles were produced in 35 different colour-ways, each individually crafted with soften edges, a plaster surface, and a faux glaze finish taking a dedicated 3 weeks to produce. Completing the festive vision, cascading tinsel plinths bring a final touch of shimmer and shine for the party season.
