JOSEPH | JIL SANDER The window concept took its inspiration directly from the JIL SANDER SS17 Show Collection, specifically the beautiful pleated pieces in soft blush pink tones. Reflecting the colours & textures of the Antelope Navajo canyon in the Arizona desert where the water & sand, carve flowing shapes into the rocks of the narrow passageways of this amazing natural landscape. The idea was to translate the Joseph 77 Fulham Rd window space into a contemporary Desert Canyon with a 3D textured hand carved back-wall & free standing organic shapes which are dissected by an artificial acrylic pink coloured stream running through it. The various shades of the pink tones used in the build reflect the feeling shown in the beautiful pleats and textures of the collection. The use of the colour pink was very prevalent in the seasons trends & SS17 Collections and added a strong femininity to the window environment, this is a colour that Joseph had never used before so it gives a unique perspective to the collaboration.
